wood flooring

Who knew that wood flooring has multiple uses? Not only is wood floors great for the obvious, providing a timeless look and feel to your home for lifetime, but it can also be used as a decorative accent to your room by utilizing it on a wall.

As you can see from the picture we added to this blog post, we utilized wood flooring to decorate our pony wall for our front desk in our retail showroom in Arlington, TX. We have received so many compliments that we incorporated in our design for our store in Burleson, TX as well.

You can use the wood flooring on the wall as headboard, on the walls of a staircase, in a kids room to provide an outdoor design for kids who love the outdoors and sports, you can run it vertical or horizontal to give different design looks, you can use narrow smooth planks to give a more modern look, or wide hand-scraped hardwood planks to give it a rustic design look. You can use new wood flooring planks or reclaim used ones.

You do not even have to use hardwood floors, you can use items such as reclaimed pallets to create an unique design on your wall. Your design is limited only to your creativity, and if you are not the creative type, here is a link to some photos to provide you with some inspiration:
