If you are about to take on a kitchen remodeling project, odds are you might have heard about creating a kitchen work triangle. It is regarded by designers and architects as the simplest and most efficient way to navigate throughout the kitchen in your everyday life.
The basics concept of the kitchen triangle includes the concept of connecting the three main work areas, the refrigerator, sink and stove. This concept was originally developed when the kitchen was utilized mainly as a place for cooking. Now it is also seen as a socializing space with family and friends. When you plan for you kitchen remodeling project, keep in mind the ideal spacing for an efficient triangle is that those three main areas should be no less than 4 ft apart and no more than 9ft. If it is less than that, then your kitchen will feel too confined. If it is more than it will make cooking more of a chore.
